“Utkal Alumina handed over road barriers to Police Administration, Rayagada to foster road safety in the district.
Rayagada, Doraguda, 26th May 2023 – It its unwavering dedication towards safety of community around the plant and mines, Utkal Alumina International Limited (UAIL), a subsidiary of Hindalco Industries Limited of Aditya Birla Group, recently demonstrated a noble gesture by handing over 60 road safety barriers to the district police administration, Rayagada on 22nd Aug 2023. These road safety barriers would reduce the speed of the vehicles and would check unwanted accidents and roadside hazards.
In the presence of Shri Vivekanand Sharma, IPS Superintendent of Police, Rayagada, Sri. Mazhar Beig, Unit Head and President Utkal Alumina, Mr. Bijaya Kumura, Unit HR Head Utkal Alumina, Ms. Kiranbala Samal, IIC Doraguda, officials from Doraguda and Tikiri PS and officials from Utkal Alumina, these road barriers were being handed over by Utkal Alumina to the police administration.
“Utkal Alumina remains steadfast in its pursuit of a robust safety culture inside and outside it’s boundary and would continue to support district administration in this endeavor to achieve road safety for all citizen of the district” as mentioned by the Unit Head and President, Utkal Alumina.
