Balasore, 19 February 2022: In line with facilitating the preventive and curative medical services at the doorstep of the rural population, TP Northern Odisha Distribution Ltd. The dispensary daily caters to almost a hundred people of Baripada, Udala and Rairangpur blocks on a pre-designed schedule. A total of 24 villages have been tapped by the MHD under these blocks. The mobile health dispensary is equipped with an MBBS doctor, a pharmacist and an ANM. The vehicle comes equipped with basic and necessary instruments and medicines required for common diseases. The MHD provides free consultation and medication such as check-up, treatment, prescription of medicines to the needy. The mobile health dispensary has received an overwhelming response from the villagers as they attended mini-medical and NISTHA camps organised in remote villages. Launched in December, NISTHA camps are organised at each sub-division for all the electricity related issues of consumers.

“The Mobile Health Dispensary was launched with a mission towards community development. It has been instrumental in driving change by ensuring better and easier access of essential medical facilities to the common public. With an overwhelming response from villagers, we are further motivated to bring meaningful changes in their lives. We are working on various aspects of our CSR programs to drive significant changes at large” said Mr. Bhaskar Sarkar, CEO, TPNODL.
