TPNODL conducted awareness drive for My Tata Power app in educational institutions of Keonjhar District
~App was launched on 1st February ~
TP Northern Odisha Distribution Ltd. (TPNODL), a joint venture between Tata Power and the Government of Odisha, since its inception has taken several customer centric initiatives. In line with its vision to provide quality services at the door steps of the consumers it has conducted an awareness drive on the My Tata Power app in various educational institutions of Keonjhar district.
Around 2000 Students from Santoshi College, Raisuan College, Jhumpura College, Turmunga College, Sarangi College, Laxminarayan College, Pipilia,Bhimkund College, Dumuria, Government ITI College, Anandapur and Anandapur College, Anandapur have participated in the awareness program. The awareness drive was conducted to ensure that the students are aware of the electricity related services delivered at the doorstep. It also helped them realise the utility and usability of the My Tata Power app. The students were keen to understand the processes related to the electricity bill payment, the documents and information required for bill payment, new connection and registration of complaints and their solution through this app.
The awareness program was conducted with the help of company officials - sub-divisional officer Mr Chiranjit Swain, Human Resource Officer, Mr Manas Ranjan Swain and Mr Chittaranjan Pradhan, PRO.
My Tata Power app was launched on 1st February and is equipped with features such as real-time bill information and instant digital payment options, complaints register facility and service requests 24x7. One unique feature of the app is that the customers can generate their electricity bills online by providing self-meter readings. Customers will also benefitted of availing discount by 4% for digital bill payments through the app. This app is also linked to a consumer billing system, ensuring that customers' information is always up to date.
